been slacking like crap the past few days. just no mood to do work...ended up sleeping a lot. guess it's a good chance to recharge as well..before more work comes in when school starts again.
went to dad's friend's home ytday. after that, we lunched at this hawker centre. the golden rule: never lunch at a hawker centre on a public holiday. it drives you mad. it was an unmitigated disaster for me, because i was frustrated with the crowd, the oil and the lack of seats. the mall was an unsaid preference for my family, but since the hosts wanted the crowd, oil and the lack of seats, objection would mean being discourteous. SO, mum made me and sis queue up for food. i so entirely hate self-service. the first is the queuing part, and the next being the carry-the-food-yourself part. mum didnt state her prefence for food, so i had to worm my way through the crowd, then ask her what she liked and at the same time fight the background noise. with all that irritation, i had trouble concealing my not-so-demure and not-so-elegant side. eew. i must have looked and sounded like a shrew. oh wells, haha.
going to westmall soon. to do what? im not too sure... it just beats rotting at home.
